Welcome to the RSPCA Bedfordshire South Branch. We are an independent charity which carries out vital animal welfare work throughout the local area, from Luton, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard through to Ampthill, Toddington and Flitwick.

We do not receive government funding and as RSPCA Bedfordshire South Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA we are responsible for raising funds locally. We also rely on the efforts of volunteers and the generosity of local people to continue with our work.

One example of this vital work is the branch’s fostering scheme, which was revived in November 2004 in an effort to assist the Inspectors with the temporary boarding of animals. Our team of dedicated volunteers throughout the local area look after cats & kittens, rabbits, and guinea pigs as pets on behalf of the branch until we can find them a new home.

We hope that through the pages of our website you can learn more about the work that we do, about the animals that we care for and how you too can contribute to animal welfare.
